A man has been arrested after police in Bury discovered a cannabis farm on a residential street this morning.

Around 250 plants were discovered along with growing equipment, with the entire setup barely hidden behind a set of curtains in the front room of the property on Balmoral Avenue.

The entire grow has now been seized and one man, an Albanian national, has been arrested.

It's the latest in a series of large seizures around Greater Manchester.

350 plants were discovered in Radcliffe at the beginning of March. 1,500 plants were found at a property in Prestwich at the start of the year.
