Police seek man after flowers stolen from Manchester's Glade of Light

It's happened on three different occasions between May and June

Police are have launched an investigation after flowers were stolen from Manchester's Glade of Light memorial on three separate occasions.

The memorial to the victims of the 2017 Manchester Arena attack was only unveiled in January.

Officers have released an image of a man they're looking for in connection with the thefts which happened last month and this month.

Chief Inspector Wignall, of GMP, says: “This memorial is really precious to the family and friends of the victims as well as people across Greater Manchester who were impacted by the attack.

“Whilst we are carrying out our own enquiries, I ask anyone who can help identify the male in the CCTV image to contact us or Crimestoppers immediately.”
