Police have released CCTV of two men they want to speak to after a large-scale fight in Bolton.

At around 6pm on Saturday 19 October 2019, police were called to reports of a disturbance at the bus station on Moor Lane.

Officers attended but the group dispersed prior to their arrival.

An investigation was launched and enquiries established that 15 to 20 men were involved and several men were assaulted.

After reviewing CCTV, it is understood that one man was repeatedly kicked in the head and body. He also left the scene prior to officers’ arrival and it is unclear if he sought medical attention.

PC Rob Smith, of GMP’s Specialist Operations Unit, said: “This was a large fight in a very public place and it is lucky that innocent bystanders were not caught up or injured.

“We will not tolerate this kind of behaviour and so, even though a few months have passed, our investigation is ongoing.

“I would like to use this opportunity to appeal to anyone who has any information about the men shown in this CCTV to contact us as soon as possible as we’re keen to speak to them as part of our enquiries”
