Police appeal after 5 cars stolen from Trafford dealership
A group of around 10 people stole 5 cars using a vehicle to ram through a wall.
Police are appealing for information after vehicles were stolen from a car dealership in Trafford.
Shortly after 7.45am on Monday 27 May 2019, police were called to reports of a burglary at Evans Halshaw on Manchester Road, Altrincham.
A man forced entry to the premises at 11.20pm on Sunday 26 May 2019 before stealing a number of car keys.
Just after 2am on Monday 27 May 2019 a group of around 10 offenders returned and stole five cars by using a vehicle to ram through a perimeter wall.
No arrests have been made.
Inspector Dave Jones of GMP’s Trafford Division said: “This was a well-planned burglary that has deliberately targeted this business premises.
“I know people in the community will be worried by this burglary.
“I would like to reassure the public and advise we are treating this as an isolated incident and are determined to find those responsible.
“We have been following a number of lines of enquiry and are appealing for the public to come forward with any information or dashcam footage they might have.
“While this burglary took place in the early hours, the offenders used a vehicle to ram a wall to enable them to get the vehicles out.
“As such I believe there may be potential witnesses who may have been in the area at the time who have either seen or heard the incident on going. I would urge those people to contact the police as soon as possible.”

MK18 LGC Ford Fiesta in blue.
DN18 JJZ Ford Fiesta in grey.
MH68 EOU Ford Fiesta in silver.
MJ19 OEX Ford Fiesta in white.
