This is the latest update from Manchester Fire & Rescue:
“Crews from three fire stations remain at the scene of a fire in Ancoats, Manchester after Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service were contacted by several members of the public.
“Following calls at 1.01pm on Friday 30 March fire engines from Manchester Central, Philips Park and Salford attended the scene at Peary Street where they discovered a fire involving a pile of discarded plastic pallets on a piece of open ground.
