People in Ashton-Under-Lyne have come together as part of a fundraising event to help raise money for the family of a man who was murdered last week.

Bradley Moore who was the father of four died after an assault outside a McDonald’s restaurant in Ashton-Under-Lyne and spokesman Steven Garside says the staff are keen to help the victim’s family any way they can.

To help raise money for the victim’s family the staff are coming together to do face paints and a tombola.

Four boys aged between 12-17 appeared at Manchester Crown court on Monday and they were charged with the murder. Their names cannot be released for legal reasons.

Mr Moore was assaulted in Ashton-under-Lyne last Wednesday and he unfortunately died from his injuries the following day.

His family have issued a statement saying they’ve struggled to find the words to describe their great loss.

The 43-year old’s daughter Alex said he was loved by all those who knew him and that he was a harmless man.

She says “I will make him proud and I know he will be watching over me, my brothers, Reece and Jack and also my little sister Emma”

Det Insp John Mulvihill said it was a tragic case and he is appealing for witnesses to come forward and contact the police.
