Pension campaigners demonstrate outside the town hall
Manchester MPs join protest.
Dozens of women campaigners calling for pension equality were joined outside Manchester town hall by the MPs from our region today.
Members of the Women Against State Pension Inequality are calling for the government to rethink their policy which they claim unfair towards women.
They've been backed by Leigh MP Andy Burnham, Blackley MP Graham Stringer, Eccles and Worsley MP Barbara Keeley amongst others.
