Murder investigation in Rochdale
Woman's body found at house
Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a woman in Rochdale.
At about 1.20pm today, Wednesday 7 February 2018, police received a report that a woman had been found collapsed at a property on Clement Royd Street.
Officers attended and discovered the body of a 47-year-old woman. A post mortem will now take place to establish the cause of death.
A 31-year-old Rochdale man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody for questioning.
Enquiries are continuing and more information will be released when it becomes available.
