Moving tribute to teenager and her parents killed in crash in Alderley Edge
Stretford High School pupils joined family of Hajra Sidat and her parents in Southern Cemetery
Hundreds of people have gathered to say goodbye to a teenager and her parents - who died in a crash between a car and a minibus in Alderley Edge at the weekend.
Hajra Sifat, 14, and her father Liyakat Sidat, 47, were pronounced dead at the scene on Melrose Way in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Her mother, 41-year-old Salma Sidat, later died of her injuries in hospital.
Headteacher of the Stretford High School, where Hajra was a pupil, Nicola Doward, said:
"I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from our pupils who are determined to do good in Hajra’s name and the offers of support from parents and the community.
"We are very grateful to be in the heart of a wonderful community who truly cares about each other.
"Again, I am sure you will all join me in sending your love and support to Hajra’s family at this extremely difficult time."
