Gormless expressions and eighties hairstyles are all among the UK’s unluckiest passport photos.
Travel agent Florida4Less set out to find the UK's worst passport photo. What it received would be enough to make even the most stern-faced airport border officer snigger.
It was Nicola Stott from Manchester whose unlucky experience at the photo booth, whilst familiar to many, earned the title of the country’s biggest passport photo fail.
Judges said: "Nicola’s expression sums up what we all feel when we pull back the curtain and step into the dazzling purgatory that is the photo booth – confusion, annoyance, and fear of just how badly the picture will turn out, however hard we try to make it look good.
"It combines everything that we go through inside passport booths, including the dodgy lighting, poor picture quality, unclear instructions and seemingly random snapping, Nicola’s picture has it all!"
