Manchester's homeless offered free haircuts

Hairdresser visits city centre to give free trims to rough sleepers

Rough sleepers in Manchester have been offered free haircuts thanks to a campaign led by a barber from London.

Joshua Coombes is behind #DoSomething4Nothing a campaign aimed at encouraging people to reach out to people in need.

He’s been around the city centre today speaking to the homeless and giving them a free haircut.

Joshua says it’s important to reach out to anyone who may be suffering and needs a helping hand.

While in the city Joshua also received a Leesa Legacy Award for “his personal contribution towards the homeless, and inspiring others to understand the impact an individual can have in their communities, as well as on a global scale.”
