Manchester's Apprenticeships Grant
Businesses across Greater Manchester are being encouraged to offer more apprenticeships thanks to the introduction of a new grant scheme.
Around seven million pounds has been set aside for employers able to give young people an apprenticeships.
The move is part of the city's new devolutionary powers.
Businesses are being encouraged to apply for the grant - which offers between 1500 and 3500 pounds to employers who take on an apprentice.
