Man who said police wouldn't catch him before Christmas, is caught
Greater Manchester Police issued a most wanted appeal on the Salford East Facebook page for 25 year old Craig Thompson - saying he was wanted on recall to prison for burglary.
Police have caught a man who claimed police ‘wouldn’t catch him before Christmas.’
Greater Manchester Police issued a most wanted appeal on the Salford East Facebook page for 25 year old Craig Thompson on the 25th of November, saying he was wanted on recall to prison for burglary.
Thompson then commented underneath his own appeal - to say “you won’t catch me”
On Thursday 24 December 2015 officers from Salford division arrested Thompson and he has been recalled to prison.
Superintendent Mark Kenny of Salford division said
“This is a great result and despite Thompson’s taunts that police wouldn’t catch him before Christmas, we did and he will now spend Christmas day behind bars.”
