Man left seriously hurt after being hit by car in Rochdale
Police say they believe three cars were involved in the incident
An investigation is underway in Rochdale after a man was hit by a car as he tried to cross the road in Rochdale
Police say it's believed at around 11pm, three vehicles were travelling together along Yorkshire Street when a collision occurred with a 42-year-old male who was attempting to cross the road.
He was left with serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Two men were subsequently arrested at the scene under suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. They remain in custody for questioning.
A third vehicle involved failed to stop and officers are currently searching for the vehicle and driver.
Investigators are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to please come forward.
This includes anyone with relevant dashcam, CCTV, mobile, or doorbell footage from the area who captures any of the incidents.
Two of the vehicles suspected of being involved are a blue Mercedes and silver Mini Cooper.
