Man City and UEFA enter talks about fans at the Champions League final
Manchester City say they will "enter discussions" with UEFA and other stakeholders about tickets and travel arrangements.
Manchester City say they're entering talks with UEFA and other stakeholders to see whether some fans will be able to attend their first ever Champions League final.
The Blues booked their spot in the final last night after beating PSG. They'll face either Chelsea or Real Madrid who play their semi final second-leg tonight.
City fans being able to attend the game depends on the UK Government's international travel rules, which at this point haven't been confirmed.
We're expecting to hear more details this week about the next phase of restrictions being eased, which is due to come into effect on the 17th of May.
It's likely to include a travel traffic-light system which will tell us where we can visit without having to self-isolate afterwards.
The Turkish government will decide how many tickets, if any, will be allocated to clubs.
In a statement City said: "In preparation for the UEFA Champions League Final in Istanbul on Saturday 29th May, the Club will now enter discussions with UEFA and other stakeholders regarding ticketing and travel arrangements.
"Whilst details relating to international leisure travel have not been confirmed by the UK Government at this time, we expect that guidance will be published in Step 3 of the roadmap, which is due to come into effect on 17th May.
"We will provide further information to supporters as soon as we are able to do so."
