Man charged over murder of Rochdale cleric
A Rochdale man has been charged with the murder of a Muslim cleric in Rochdale.
Jalal Uddin was found with head injuries in a children's play area a few streets away from the Jalalia Jaamé Mosque, on 18 February.
Mohammed Hussain Syeedy (born 11/10/1994) of Ramsay Street, Rochdale, has been charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
He is due to appear at Bury Magistrates Court on Monday 29 February 2016.
