A man's been charged with murdering Mike Samwell in Chorlton.

A man's been charged with murdering Mike Samwell in Chorlton.

The former Royal Navy officer was hit by his own car as it was being stolen from outside his house on Cranbourne Road in the early hours of Sunday 23rd April 2017.

29-year-old Ryan Gibbons, of Steven Court, Egerton Road South, Chorlton, is also accused of burglary and aggravated taking without consent.

A 15-year-old boy from South Manchester and two men, aged 20 and 21, who were arrested on suspicion of murder and burglary have all been bailed while the investigation continues.
