Man arrested after speed camera cut down in Wigan
He's been bailed pending further enquiries
A man has been arrested after a speed camera was cut down in Wigan.
Greater Manchester Police made the discovery during patrols on Saturday.
Officers believe it had been cut with an angle grinder and then left on the ground.
In an update, GMP said: "On Saturday January 6, officers on routine patrol located a new speed camera cut down with an angle grinder on Warrington Road, Wigan.
"A 67-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage"
The man has since been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
