Man arrested after car collides with roundabout in Oldham
Another man suffers serious injuries in early morning crash
A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a car hit a roundabout in Oldham.
Another man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following the collision just before 3.00am this morning on Oldham Road.
Police say a vehicle was travelling in a northerly direction towards the ‘Big Lamp Roundabout’ when it collided with the roundabout, before coming to a rest in the carriageway.
The driver and passenger of the vehicle did not remain at the scene.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
