Kids thank police for being 'real superheroes'

A constable on duty outside the Town Hall in Manchester was handed letters and chocolate coins by a young boy.

A constable on duty outside the Town Hall in Manchester was handed letters and chocolate coins by a young boy.

The child known only as 'Ben' then ran off leaving the officer with the envelopes addressed to the 'The Superheroes of Manchester

Inside the envelopes, the notes read: "Thank you for protecting everyone from danger and for being a real superhero to us all, Love Ben, Amy-Leigh and Charlotte."
