Investigation launched as man dies after attack in Wigan
It's not yet clear if the man's death is because of injuries he sustained in the attack
A man's died after being attacked by a group of men in Wigan. .
At around 5pm on Wednesday 6 November, two men were assaulted by three other males in the area of Scot Lane.
One of the men sadly died but it is not known at this stage whether injuries from the assault are directly linked to his death.
Officers are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward and assist their investigation, particularly anyone who saw three men with baseball bats in the area of Scot Lane around this time.
