Gordon Street in Salford is a Happy Street!

Published 22nd Aug 2016

Gordon Street in Salford was deverstated by the floods that hit the area last Christmas. But those days were a distant memory on August 21st as the residents show their community spirit to raise loads of money for Key 103's Cash For Kids.

The residents of Gordon Street we're challenged against other street in Greater Manchester to fund raise for Cash For Kids and the street who raise the most will be treated to a street party hosted by Key 103.

A great day for the whole family, everyone enjoyed the bouncy castle and bucking bronco.

Check out all the photos from the day in our gallery.

Cash for Kids is the official charity of Key 103 and provides a helping hand to disabled and disadvantaged children across Greater Manchester.

Each year we hope to have thousands of pounds available for grants to children’s charities, individuals and many other causes throughout our transmission area.

All the money is raised locally and spent locally and goes to children and young people under 18 throughout the region, with mental, physical or sensory disabilities, with behavioural or psychological disorders, living in poverty or situations of deprivation, suffering through distress, abuse or neglect.
