Girl fighting for life after escalator fall

An 11-year-old girl is fighting for her life after falling from an escalator in a shopping centre in Rochdale.

Emergency services rushed to the Wheatsheaf at about 15:10 yesterday afternoon (Sunday 21st May 2017).

An investigation's underway and police want to speak to witnesses but say they don't think it was suspicious.
