Fourth child dies after house fire in Salford

The three year old girl who's been fighting for her life since Monday's fire in Salford has died.

Three other children died on the day - a woman's still fighting for her life.

Shortly before 5am on Monday 11 December 2017, emergency services were called to Jackson Street in Walkden to reports of a house fire.

The fire service put the blaze under control and rescued the seven people inside.

15-year old Demi Pearson, eight-year old Brandon Pearson and 7-year old Lacie Pearson sadly died in the fire.

A 35-year old woman is currently fighting for her life in hospital.

Two 16-year-old boys escaped from the house uninjured.

Earlier today, a man and woman appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court charged with murder, attempted murder and causing arson with intent to endanger life.
