Flood Clean Up Underway

The villages of Bramhall and Poynton took the worst of last night's flash flooding as nearly a month's worth of rain fell in just 24 hours.

In Bramhall local people watched on as homes and businesses were swamped and a car submerged.

It was the second time in three years that this main route into Bramhall, a major roudabout and nearby houses had been flooded.

Meanwhile in Poynton there was serious damage to the road and a properties, but a huge community effort too.
