Crews deal with major fire at Bolton pub
Crews spent six and a half hours at the scene
Firefighters have dealt with a fire at a pub in Bolton.
Six fire engines were sent out just before 5am this morning (Sunday 21st July), along with the Command Support Unit, Technical Response Unit and Breathing Apparatus Unit.
The crews travelled from across Greater Manchester, to a pub on Deansgate.
In a statement to Hits Radio, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue added: “Crews arrived quickly at the scene. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus carried out a search of the property and used three hose reels to extinguish the fire.
“Firefighters were in attendance for around six and a half hours.”
The road was also closed.
