Family pay tribute to murdered businesswoman
The family of murdered business woman, Sadie Hartley, have paid tribute to the “Best Mum”.
The 60-year-old was stabbed to death at her house on Sunnybank Road in Helmshore in Rossendale on Thursday the 14th of January.
She was last seen alive at a conference in Manchester earlier that day.
“We are utterly devastated and cannot begin to understand why mum should be taken so cruelly from us. The whole family is numb. She was the best mum we could have. She cared so much for our welfare and was a massive inspiration to us all. She was so excited about Charlotte's engagement just a week ago.
The family wish to express our sincere thanks to the SIO Mr Withers and the huge team who are working tirelessly to investigate this truly awful crime, and the Family Liaison Officers who are providing invaluable support to all the family.”
2 women, 55 year old Katrina Walsh, and 34 year old Sarah Williams have been charged with her murder.
