Family launch appeal to bring Manchester woman’s body home from Australia
More than £11,000 has been raised to bring back Stacey Tierney who died in Melbourne.
A campaign to bring home the body of a Manchester woman found dead in Australia has raised more than £11,000. 29-year-old Stacey Tierney was found dead at Dreams Gentlemen’s Club in Melbourne on 19th December and may have lay undiscovered for up to 12-hours, according to Australian media. Her death is being reported as “unexplained” by Australian police. Ms Tierney’s cousin Colleen Sarah set up the funding page and more than 400 people have donated. A message on the page reads, “As some of you may know we sadly lost our beautiful Stacey on Monday.” “Stacey was living her life to the full in Australia and she has made a huge impact on everyone who knew her. “We just want to bring her home and give her an amazing funeral.”
