Families pay tribute to children who lost their lives on Greater Manchester's roads this weekend
Three people have been killed in five separate incidents over the weekend
The families of two youngsters who lost their lives in two separate crashes this weekend have paid tribute to them.
Eight-year-old Emily Connor was killed when a blue Vauxhall Corsa collided with a pedestrian on Monton Road in Monton.
She was sadly pronounced dead at the scene, despite the best efforts of the emergency services.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He remains in custody for questioning.

Paying tribute to her, her family said:
"To our Emily, the kindest person we ever knew. You will always be in our thoughts. We will talk about you every day. Rest in peace, beautiful girl.'
Meanwhile, a teenager was also killed in a collision in Oldham.
Police were called to reports of an incident involving a grey Vauxhall Insignia and a bicycle on Oldham Road.
Two cyclists - two boys aged 17 and 19 - were taken to hospital where the 19-year-old remains in a critical condition.
Sadly, the 17-year-old, who has since been formally identified as Trent Warburton from Oldham, died from his injuries.
A 27-year-old man was arrested nearby on suspicion of dangerous driving and drink driving. He has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Trent's family have said:
"He was a polite, well respected young man who has touched the lives of many people in Oldham and the love we have felt from the community has been heartwarming.
"We have to live with this loss for the rest of our lives.
It's left us as a family truly devastated and our lives will never be the same again."
Two children remain in a critical condition in hospital after two separate collisions in Heywood.
An 11-year-old girl was knocked down near Heywood Sport Centre during rush hour on Friday.
While later that evening, officers were called to another collision on Bridge Street, between a Toyota Corolla and a 12-year-old girl.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
