Man pulled from Audenshaw Reservoir

A man's been pulled out of Audenshaw Reservoir in Tameside this afternoon (Thursday 28th June 2018).

Emergency services were sent to the scene following reports a person had got in to difficulty in the water.

Greater Manchester Police has said:

"Shortly after 3.20pm on Thursday 28 June 2018, police were called to reports that there was a distressed man in a reservoir off Kings Road in Audenshaw.

"Emergency services attended and an immediate search was conducted.

"A man was recovered from the water and paramedics are at the scene."
