Elderly Wigan couple threatened and robbed at home

A elderly couple have been threatened and robbed in their Wigan home.

A man wearing a balaclava and armed with a screwdriver and crowbar went in to the house on Hesketh Manor in Atherton at 4:40 this morning (Saturday 16th February 2019).

He escaped with £4 in cash. No one was injured but the couple are shaken.

Police are investigating and appealing for witnesses or anyone else with information to get in touch with them on 0161 856 7182 quoting incident number 439 of 16/02/19.
