A six-year-old boy from Poynton who has the fatal 'Batten Disease' has met his hero Ed Sheeran back stage at the Manchester Arena.

The family of Ollie Carroll launched a social media campaign to try and get the message to Ed about how much he and his music meant to the little boy, especially as he battles an incurable illness. They were delighted when the singer/songwriter's Manager got in touch with them to say he would be honoured to see him at his show on Saturday (22nd April 2017).

Ollie took part in KEY103's Cash for Kids Superhero Day last year, becoming a Superhero for the day and helping to save Manchester from the Dark Side of the Force - Darth Vader.

On the 5th May we do it all again - granting wishes for children with life-threatening diseases.
