Christmas Panto Announcement

Ice skating legends Jayne Torville and Christopher Dean have been announced as the headline act for this Christmas’s Manchester pantomime at the Opera House.

Following in the footsteps of last years’ star Priscilla Presley who was the big name choice, the Olympic duo will play the Fairy Godmother and Godfather in this year’s production of Cinderella.

It’s the first time the pair has ever appeared in panto and both say they’re looking forward to the challenge.

Fans can expect to see the Dancing on Ice stars perform new routines and there’s also been the hint that an old favourite will be among the pairs’ repertoire.

More stars are set to be announced for the winter production which begins on the 4th December.
