CCTV appeal after elderly woman burgled in her own home in Manchester
The 77 year old had her bus pass, bank card and cash stolen
Detectives investigating after an elderly woman was burgled in her own home in Manchester have released CCTV of some men they want to speak to.
The incident took place at around 6pm.on Christmas Eve on Saxon Street in North East Manchester.
No arrests have been made so far.
The victim described the incident to officers and said she was watching television when suddenly she heard a loud bang. When she went to investigate the noise, she was confronted by three masked males who had smashed and forcibly entered through the rear patio doors.
One of the intruders forced the victim stay in the kitchen with him, while the other two proceeded to search the property for about five minutes. Subsequently, the three perpetrators fled the property, and the victim immediately contacted the police.
It was later revealed that the incident occurred on the victim's 77th birthday and the three suspects took the victims handbag containing £50 in cash, her bank card, bus pass, and various personal items.
Police are particularly keen to speak to the three people pictured above, as they may have further information that may help with the investigation.

Detective Sergeant Terina Arthern of GMP’s North Manchester Neighbourhood Crime Team said:
“Our officers are continuing to provide ongoing support to the victim as she comes to terms after this distressing incident. Ensuring her safety and well-being is our top priority and we are ensuring the right measures are taken to make sure she is supported appropriately.
"We sincerely thank those in the community who have offered their support. Your messages are deeply appreciated and have been passed onto the victim and her family.
"We want to assure the community that we are leaving no stone unturned in our efforts to uncover those responsible. We are exploring all possible lines of enquiry and every bit of information we receive will allow us to build a timeline before and after the incident.
"We urge you to come forward if you have any CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage from around the Miles Platting/Saxon Road/Bradford Road area around 6pm on Christmas Eve this year.”
