Calls to Ban Pro-Rape Activist from UK

Published 4th Feb 2016

MPs from our region are joining calls to ban a pro-rape activist from the UK after he planned to discuss his views at a meeting in Manchester.

The Pick-up artist from America - who goes by the name of Roosh V - believes rape should be legalised on private property.

He was due to hold a series of events in the UK, including one in Manchester on Saturday 6th February, but has now cancelled them.

The MP for Denton and Reddish Andrew Gwynne has raised his concerns in the Commons:

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)0; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_GB/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));> We now have an Urgent Question granted on Return of Kings and Roosh V who had promoted "hate" events in the UK.Whether...> > Posted by
