Boy, 17, hit by ambulance in Stockport
North West Ambulance Service says it's supporting police with their investigation
An investigation is underway after a 17-year-old boy was hit by an ambulance in Stockport.
It happened on Wellington Road South on Tuesday evening.
The teenager was left with a head injury, and was taken to hospital as a precaution.
North West Ambulance Service says it is helping police with their investigation.
An NWAS spokesperson said: “At around 19.20 last night, an ambulance was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on Wellington Road South, Stockport.
A 17-year-old male suffered a head injury and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
We are helping the police with their investigation and hope the patient makes a full recovery.”
