A biker's fighting for his life in hospital after a head on crash in South Manchester.

It happened on Wythenshawe Road in Northern Moor at about 19:45 on Thursday (18th October 2016).

The 29-year-old was riding a KTM which crashed with a grey Vauxhall Astra.

He's now in hospital with life threatening head injuries.

Police Sergeant Paul Higgins from the GMP Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) said: “This collision happened at a relatively early time in the evening so we believe there may have been people around who witnessed this.” “I would like to urge anybody with information to please contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.” Anybody who witnessed the collision should contact the GMP SCIU on 0161 856 4741.
