- When Pep was a ball-boy, he was once refused an autograph by Michel Platini. Pep had taken his poster off his wall especially to get it signed but unfortunately Michel wasn't having any of it.
- Before Jose became a famous world manager, he was a PE teacher in Lisbon. Bet the students loved it when he took netball!
