Noel the Elf's Guide to all the best Christmas shows in Manchester

Hear those jingle bells? It's Noel the Elf singing and dancing with Christmas spirit as he hits up all the best festive theatre shows.

If you've taken the train into Manchester via Oxford Road Station you can jump straight on the Metroshuttle and head towards the Opera House to catch action pack Pantomine, Dick Whittington.

The action isn't all in the city centre. Noel grabbed his teddy and jumped on Metrolink to Sale to join other guests who are invited to put on their PJs for the Slumber Show performance of Raymond Briggs' 'The Bear' at Waterside Arts Centre.

Another festive favourite can be found at the Lowry Theatre, it's easy to get there just take the MediaCityUK line on Metrolink. Elf the musical is in full swing, Noel will be popping along to watch his cousin's in action.

Jazz hands at the ready, take the Metroshuttle to the Royal Exchange Theatre and check out Broadway classic musical Guys and Dolls. The critically acclaimed show is bound to get your foot tapping and dancing through the streets.
