Woman dies after north London house fire

A woman's died following a house fire in north London

Fire crews were called to a property on Fellows Road in Primrose Hill just after half ten where part of a first floor bedroom was alight

Another man was taken to hospital.

In a statement the service said:

Part of a bedroom on the first floor of the property was damaged by fire. Firefighters brought a woman out of the building who was taken to hospital, where she sadly later died. A man was also taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.

The Brigade was called at 1038 and the incident was over for firefighters by 1207. Fire crews from West Hampstead, Paddington and Soho fire stations attended the scene.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway
