A man will appear in court charged with the murder of a man in west London.

Harley-Dee Thompson, who's 27 from Albert Road, in the Yiewsley area of Hillingdon will appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 10 January. He's charged with the murder of 46-year-old Dariusz Wolosz, and possession of an offensive weapon.

It's after an incident on nearby West Drayton High Street on Tuesday, 4 January.

Dariusz, a Polish national, was found suffering knife injuries but died at the scene. A post-mortem examination carried out on Thursday, 6 January gave the cause of death as knife wounds to the groin and chest.

A 13-year-old boy who was arrested on suspicion of murder on Thursday, 6 January, has been released on bail to a date in early February.

Officers had been called by paramedics to reports of an injured man on the High Street at 12.12am on Tuesday.

Despite their best efforts he was pronounced dead at 12.43am.

Mr Wolosz's family are said to be "distraught".

The police have been urging anyone with information to contact them or Crimestoppers, and say dashcam footage from passing cars may have captured the incident.
