Wigan one of the top areas searching for cost of living help

Wigan has been ranked as one of the top areas in the country searching for help on the cost of living crisis.
New stats, taken from analysing google search terms and data, puts Wigan in 6th place.
It shows that Wiganers are carrying out 4,049 monthly searches per 100 thousand people - with 'need help paying bills' the most common search term.
The data by CMC Markets, analysed numerous search terms related to financial help across every UK area to establish which areas are the most worried about their money.
Wrexham took the top spot, with 7,767 average monthly searches per 100 thousand residents about financial help and advice. Surprisingly, Wrexham residents Googled the term for financial assistance on student finance more than any other type of financial help.
Liverpool ranks eighth out of all UK areas when it comes to searching for financial help, with the stats showing 3690 searchs per 100K thousand residents.
