No arrests after teenagers seriously hurt in Harrogate crash

Police have confirmed no arrests have been made after two teenagers were seriously injured in a crash in Harrogate on Thursday morning (February 02).

The two boys, who are pupils at Rossett School, were walking along Yew Tree Lane when three vehicles collided.

No other injuries have been reported and no arrests have been made.

The drivers of all three vehiicles involved in the crash stayed at the scene and spoke to police afterwards.

Staff from the school and nearby Ashville College rushed to help the teenagers, and provided first aid while they waited for emergency services.

North Yorkshire Police have begun an appeal for witnesses.

Rossett School said: "We are working with the emergency services and supporting the families of those involved.

"We would like to thank the staff of Ashville College for their quick response and the care that they provided at the scene."
