Second teenager arrested over stabbing on busy Liverpool high street
The 18-year-old has been questioned on suspicion of attempted murder
A second teenager has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in Liverpool city centre.
Police found a 21-year-old man in Church Street with multiple wounds to his back at around 08:5BST on Thursday 22 August.
It is believed he was involved in an altercation with around seven young men before the stabbing occurred.
An 18-year-old man has become the second teenager arrested in connection with the stabbing.
He has been released on bail after he was questioned on suspicion of attempted murder.
It comes after police arrested a 16-year-old boy, who has also been released on bail while investigations continue.
The victim has since left hospital.
