Missing Spilsby man found dead in farmland
61-year-old Trevor Blanchard went missing in June last year
The remains of a 61-year-old man who went missing in June last year have been found on farmland in Holten Holegate.
Trevor Blanchard had been reported missing from the Spilsby area.
His death is not believed to have any suspicious circumstances and officers say there's no evidence of foul play.
A Lincolnshire police spokesperson said, "We issued several appeals between June and October last year to assist in locating Trevor, who had been reported missing from the Spilsby area, and we are grateful to everyone who shared those appeals and supported the search.
"Trevor’s family have been informed of this development. Our deepest sympathies are with them and all who knew Trevor at this very difficult time.
"We respectfully ask that the family be given privacy and space as they come to terms with this tragic news."
