Man taken to hospital with serious injuries after collision in Grimsby

A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a road traffic collision in Grimsby on Friday (31st January).

Humberside Police say they were called at approximately 7.50pm to reports that a red Seat Leon and a pedestrian were in a collision on Hainton Avenue.

A road closure was put in place whilst emergency services attended, and the pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries, which are not thought to be life threatening.

Anyone with information, dash cam or CCTV footage from the area at the time is urged to contact police.
