Coningsby woman who lost both parents to Coronavirus reacts to new report
The first report into Covid 19 was released yesterday
A woman from Coningsby who lost both her parents in the pandemic says she's saddened by the outcome of the first report of the Covid 19 inquiry.
Yesterday the report concluded the government had "failed" citizens.
The document detailed "several significant flaws" including preparing for "the wrong pandemic".
Lisa Harding from Coningsby gave her reaction to the report.
The report specifically says had they planned better that a lot more people perhaps wouldn't have died
She said: "It kind of makes me feel like my parents died in vain - it's quite hurtful and makes me feel very sad."
