2 people arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in North Hykeham

Following reports of a fire at an address in North Hykeham, 2 people have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
The incident took place yesterday.
Officers received reports of a blaze at a property on Lincoln Road and attended the scene around 11 yesterday (Saturday, 22 June) morning.
There they found a woman in her 60s who'd sustained serious injuries, she was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre for treatment.
A 36 year old man and 29 year old woman have been taken into police custody and a scene has been secured as investigations are ongoing.
Police are appealing for any information and asking anyone who thinks they can help us to contact the force quoting incident number 147 of 22/06/24.
