8-year-old boy hospitalised after e-scooter crash
His injuries are serious, but not thought to be life-threatening
An eight year old boy is in hospital with serious injuries after an electric scooter he was riding collided with a car.
On Sunday (13 April) a serious collision took place between a Skoda Octavia and an electric scooter.
The incident took place on Bradshaw Street, Nelson, at around 4:20pm.
The site of the collision was attended by emergency services, who found the young boy with serious injuries.
He was taken hospital to receive treatment for serious injuries to his leg.
Although he remains in hospital, his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
No arrests were made by Lancashire police.
However, they are appealing for any witnesses of the incident.
