Officers are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Worcestershire yesterday afternoon (Saturday 24 August).

The incident happened at around 3.45pm on Valley Way in Droitwich where a Vauxhall Corsa collided with a pedestrian.

A 17-year-old male suffered serious injuries and as taken to hospital for treatment.

A man, aged 19, who was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving has now been released on police bail as enquiries continue.

An investigation has been launched into the incident, and officers are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact DC Iran Quyyum by emailing iran.quyyum@westmercia.police.uk quoting incident number 280i of August 24, 2024.
